A complete HVHZ submittal typically includes: Product cut sheets, NOA documents for each product, wind load calculations, installation details, shop drawings if required, PE sealed documents when required, and a submittal cover sheet listing all items.
Organize by section: Cover sheet with index, then each product in order (windows, doors, roofing, etc.). For each product include: cut sheet, NOA, installation details. Put wind load calculations and PE sealed documents in a separate section.
Common rejections include: Expired NOA documents, missing installation details, design pressures not meeting calculated requirements, incomplete product specifications, and missing PE seals when required by the building department.
PE seals are typically required for custom engineering, when product ratings are close to calculated requirements, for large commercial projects, and when specified by the architect or required by the building department.
